The Probation Service is committed to the delivery of an effective service that is evidence based and is delivered in accordance with international best practice. This is achieved through professional academic partnerships and European networks on a continual basis.
To this end the Probation Service both draws on the expertise and experience of our partners and in turn the Probation Service facilitates research requests pertaining to criminal justice and contemporary probation practice that can further enhance our knowledge base and in turn our service delivery to offenders and other stakeholders.
