Young Persons' Probation
Young Person's Probation (YPP) is a division of the Probation and Welfare Service working with young people; under 18 years of age, who come before the Courts. The YPP is working with approximately 600 young offenders nationally. As part of our role in working to reduce offending, the YPP has responsibility for the implementation of certain provisions under the Children Act, 2001.
